Design Junction 2013

We launched the Duo range in September and can't think of a better way to have done it. Design Junction had such a strong creative community feel and a really great vibe. Thanks again for a good show everyone.

This years Design Junction from the 18th - 22nd September during the London Design Festival was the perfect mix of established and up and coming brands. Olio Objects presented the Duo range which proudly shared a stand with Sibley Grove and the Butler Stool designed by Jeremy Grove  and Single Fold Lampshade designed by Kate Sibley.

Maybe I'm a little biased but I thought that the first floor offering was the most interesting…
Here are my special picks from the show.

Just gorgeous and with the right amount of intrigue and history the Frederick Textile Garment by Briggs & Cole out of Glasgow.

Oh so stylish a magazine rack that James Bond would be proud of, the Saddle magazine rack by Noble & Wood.

The covetable contours of VW+BS Architecture and Design firm not to mention the oh so entertaining Ian we met on the stand. Great work, made by nice people.

Yu Hiraoka Planet without the ‘E’ planter. I had a great chat with Yu about his manufacturing techniques. I just really like the simplicity and elegance of this mini desk planter.

Vasso and Loulkas and a dynamite duo of Studio Lav who produce everything from furniture to baking accessories, here is their Ombro Collection of tables.

Little Shed Collective "bling bowl" which they have named more sensibly... Hatch Bowl.

Guys you are all an inspiration. A pleasure to be in such great company.
